I woke up this morning with J Moss's "Give you More" filtering through my brain and then it hit me that a lot of time, I sing that song without really thinking of the implication of what the song means.
I must say giving God anything at all is not an easy task, promising to give him more than money can pay for or more than an army can fight for may be an herculean task. One sure thing though is that we are created for God's pleasure which means we belong to him and him only! All our substance and everything we may become already belongs to him that is why he has the power to give and take away. So no matter how difficult it is to give our all to God, it is something that must be done and we must strive to do it at whatever the cost.
Come to think of it, giving our all to God will be easy to do the moment we are able to deal with the fact that it all belong to Him anyway and when something belongs to you, you have power over it.
That's why I am writing this hoping someone would read it and come to the same conclusion as I that no matter how difficult it may seem, God deserves our all and if we've been giving him sparringly, it is time to let it go and give him more than money can pay for or more than an army can fight for.
